can't turn house switch on

Hi all
Our RV is a 2018 Axis 24.1
Here is my issue:
I can not turn on the house (store switch)
Yes Batteries are at full charge 21.6 v.

I have replaced the solenoid, voltage on battery side is 12,6v.

When the RV is on shore power house, store switch light is on, all 12v in house works, but batteries are not charging according to my Victron volt meter.
On generator the same thing.
Start the RV volt meter shows charging house at 14.4v
From alternator.

now for the Quirk:

If I start the generator drive around or just stay parked while running for about 20min.
The house switch begins to work again and remains working for about 2 or three days.

Have you checked the connections to make sure that they're all tight?

Sounds like your latching relay which is operated by the USE/STORE switch has bad contacts and the driving vibration gets them to work for a while.

Ok Bob you were correct about the connection.
I've found the issue.
The power wire that runs from the battery to the latching relay goes through a buse fuse.
Both terminals looked good visually and were secure, but when removed they were corroded. So when testing with light tester, there was power enough for the light but not enough for the latch relay to work.
I should have pick up on the light brightness, or use the multi meter in the first place.

Thanks

I'm so glad to see that you found and fixed the problem!

This is just living proof that< "even a blind hog can still find the occasional acorn..."
