How do you remove the captains chairs are in a 2016 Axis?

I want to remove the left arm. It drops past parallel when down. I want to fix it to stop horizonal. Thanks for any help.

Rotate it back past vertical and pull it straight out.

Just tried that. I pushed and pulled as hard as I could with the arm all the way past vertical and there is no give at all.
