Captains Chair Armrest

Hi folks, we have a 2017 Windsport 29M and have trouble turning the drivers captain chair around due to the left armrest. In a previous post, I think by Half-Price, there is a way to remove it so the chair can turn easier. Then put it back on to drive. Anyone have the directions? Thank you

Rotate it up - pull it out.

Rotate up tilt stops. Push in hard rotate backward. Its really more of hit and push backwards at the same time

In my 29M, to rotate the chair I just tilt the backrest and rotate chair.

Thank you Jerry! Photos sure help too. I’ve managed to get the seat turned but it’s a pain. When I saw your post it sure made my day!

Yeah much easier with the armrest off. Just make sure to turn the seat back the way you came. I've twisted my seatbelts a couple times by going the wrong way

It is possible this won’t work for you, but in our 29M Hurricane we do the following to rotate the captain’s chair:

Move the seat all the way forward

Raise the seat as high as it will go

Move the steering wheel all the way down

Move the chair’s back to the near upright position

Rotate the chair and then readjust the back and seat height
