Caulking around lights & windows

It looks like I’ll need to re caulk around the rear marker lights on my Freedom Elite before too long. Can I just use a clear silicone or is there something else recommended? Thanks.

Try an experiment...

Lay down a bead of your caulk across the top edge of one light.
After it dries: try peeling it off.
It if sticks: finish the job!
If it doesn't: try Di-Cor.
(The non self-leveling version.)

I wouldn’t use silicone. Try a product called Lexel from the big box store. It’s somewhat more difficult to apply smoothly than silicone but you get better with practice and it seems to be a better product. Sticks like the dickens.
