Install plastic part on Vegas 24.1

Hi

I need to install a new part that goes under the entry door of my 24.1 Vegas.

I lost the original, and ordered a replacement, I am wondering if anybody has a procedure on how to install it.

See attached picture.

Thanks

From the looks of it on ours it is simply held on with some screws. Just drill some holes and screw it on.

That part # is 0293388 . Give that part # to a Thor Motor Coach dealer and they can order it for you.
I purchased it threw CampingWorld, under $100 with transport.
If you find the installation procedure, pls let me know.
Thanks
Michel

Hi
I think that a special glue is also needed, if so I would like to know what is the best brand to use on these plastic parts.

Thanks

Michel

Along with the screws (our '16 Axis has a screw on each exterior end of that piece) you might also consider 3M double sided butyl tape on the inside of the part. I used it as a gasket when replacing our tail lights and it is incredibly sticky as well as waterproof. It is so sticky that I don't want to think about ever having to remove my lights in the future.

Ours was coming loose at purchase, it was repaired under warrenty but started coming loose again. While one of the 3M double sided tapes may work, have used them for solar panels, ours has to much pressure from the parts underneath. I ended up using SS screws. Now to find a touch up paint that matches.
