Toilet problems

Been searching the forum but haven't found the problem we're having. After using the toilet and attempting to flush it, there was a cracking sound like a part may have broken. I could add water to the bowl but the ball valve would not open. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

That's always an option though if it's not a big job, iId rather do it myself.

It was an easy fix on ours, nothing broke.

After the crack did you have to pull the lever up.
Depending on your make/model toilet, can you get that info?
The pedal may be held on with 1 bolt under a pop off cover on the side of the lever.

No, it seemed to be at the same height. Right now we've just moved and haven't brought the coach to our new house so it's 100 miles away. I've logged into Thor's customer resource page and downloaded the manuals which indicate we've got a Thetford toilet though I'm not sure which of three models it is. Next time I go over to it I'll spend more time trying to see what the exact problem is.
