Chaulk application

Hello everyone. new RVer, new member. I am the proud owner of 2017 RS26 MH.You can imagine my reaction to the Thor quality (or lack of it) control fiasco. Numerous problems, water pump plumbed wrong, hot water heater element shorted from factory, coach pulling to left, metal molding missing screws on roof resulting in large bubble on edge of roof and TV speaker quit working just to mention a few. The amazing thing is CW of Nashville, TN has repaired everything to satisfaction and waiting for an OK from Thor to warrant the roof repair. We love the RV and the fun we have had with it already and looking forward to what lies ahead.
A question for you experienced veterans. I have cleaned my TPO roof already and wasn't sure about the procedure for reapplying caulking. Should I remove all of the existing caulking first or can I reapply over existing caulk?

If you are just filling in some gaps and everything is clean, then adding some self leveling sealant like Dicor is no problem.

Thanks SuperD, that's was my understanding. The parts guy at CW said to remove all of it, but that didn't seem right on a new roof.
