Anyone have a source for those cheap black plastic latches on the bottom of drawers.

They're very stong double magnet latches that won't break.
Found at most any hardware store.

I went the same route about a year ago. I've had to replace 2-3 of them.

These are less expensive and work well.

If its under warranty still, give thor a call. Otherwise replace with magnetic ones like above. You won't have to replace them again.

I put a magnetic catch on a drawer under the oven, and it didn't do hardly anything to keep the drawer closed. I ended up replacing the slides with rv stay closed slides.

We need replacements on 2 drawers in our 24.1 ... I viewed the magnetic latches...I am so tired of the brittle plastic stuff Thor uses ... I do not want to replace those drawer latches with plastic again.
Those who are using the magnetic latches with success...what strength magnet is needed to keep those drawers in place while we are on the road? I realize low strength will not do the job.

Hello to all,

I have also changed the plastic latches on the large drawers of my rig.
The magnetic one's are working fine so far. To avoid any surprise, with the heavy objects I put in the bottom drawers, I added a child proof lock that prevents an opening of the one behind my driving seat : easy opening, no surprises on left turns ...

Thor sent me 10 of them when I asked for replacements. I have changed up the latches under the couch with large double roller catches (similar to what is used on the medicine cabinet doors). They work great just had to do some rigging to get them installed.
The OEM catches are just cheap plastic and break very easily.( I have replaced 6 of them so far)
