Electrical Problem

I have a 2014 Windsport 34f. The main TV is in the center of the RV near the bathroom door and the TV components cabinet is to the upper left of the TV beside the microwave.

The electrical outlet below the TV and the electrical outlet in the component cabinet are not working. All other outlets are working, including the GFCI in the bathroom.

I have checked the fuses in the box below the bed. All fuses are good. I checked the circuit breakers, no problem there.

What am I missing? Never had electrical problem before.

Just guessing, do you have any outlets outside, or in bays. You might want to check them. I am betting there is more than one GFI breaker in you coach.

Another piece to the puzzle: While looking for another GFI outlet this morning, I discovered that the outlet in the outdoor kitchen (where I plug the refrigerator) is not working.

So now, three outlets are not working:
1. Plug below TV.
2. TV compartment where I plug in Dish receiver.
3. Outdoor kitchen.

I plan on looking under bed this evening. This is where my inverter is located and lots of wires.

Does anyone own a 34f or similar, that knows location of another GFI outlet that might be tripped?

That sounds like the inverter is not working. Are you plugged into shore power or running generator? All of the locations you mentioned are on the inverter. If plugged in, your inverter may not be functioning correctly as it should pass through any AC current coming from either shore power or generator. Otherwise, it is the batteries supplying power to the inverter to the outlets.

yes, either:

- Inverter has a tripped breaker itself, on it's unit
- a GFCI is feeding this circuit, and has tripped
- a breaker in your panel is actually tripped, but may not look so
- a loose connection on one of the outlets, causing the other on the same circuit to loose power

We had the exact problem in our 2018 Hurricane 29M, after testing I found that the inverter was completely dead and wouldn't even pass power while on shore power. I called Thor and they shipped me a new inverter and I had it in 2 days from my phone call.

Just in case I do have to replace my Inverter, does anyone recommend a location to purchase. Should I go with original equipment or upgrade to a newer inverter. Currently I have: ARTERRA DIST RV Trailer 5100 Series Inverter - Wf5110H Power Inverter.
This inverter is $499 at Amazon.

Well, I have an answer to my problem. Those of you that said it was the inverter are correct.

Last night I removed the king size mattress and removed the cover to the electronics and discovered that when I was checking something a few weeks ago I had unplugged the inverter and forgot to plug it back in. Funny how it don't work, if you don't plug it in.

Sorry...thanks,

A 12 pack? You realize how much he saved by not getting diagnosis from a dealer. I'm thinking an "as needed" supply for 1 year!
