Class C chasssis alignment

I was told by the local Ford Service Dept that within 12,000 miles or one year you can get a warranty covered vehicle alignment. This makes sense as the Econoline cab chassis didn't have any weight on it from the factory. The steering wheel is also not centered. My problem is that the fleet Ford service dept doesn't work on RV's over 26 ft and the truck place they sent me to can't do it on wheels under 16.5 inches.



Where do people take them to get the Ford warranty alignment done? I'm in the DFW area.

Had an alignment done on every Ford I've owned under warranty to include the last two motorhomes. I mentioned the same thing on this forum about 5 years ago. If you are on a stopped chassis with Ford factory wiper blades you can also get those replaced within the first 12K miles. After 12K it's a no go.

I just got my Class C Quantum JM31 aligned. It's 6 months old with 8000 miles. The TOE was out of allowable parameters, so they adjusted it and centered the steering wheel. Ford has it in their warranty verbiage that if you add a 'house', they don't need to warranty the alignment. It must be sent to Thor for reimbursement.
