Engine starts and then cuts out shortly after

We have a Thor four winds on an E450 chassis. 2018 model
Starts up but shortly after the engine stops and will not restart until it is left for a few hours
On the dash a red car symbol with a lock next to it flashes.

Any ideas on what this could be?

Any help suggestion great appreciated.

What does your Ford Owners Manual say about that indicator?

Sounds like a security lock-out to me.

Security system is armed. A Google search will tell you how to disarm it, or you can read the manual for the procedure.
