Short answer...yes. Are you referring to reverse plug into an outlet for temp power of a zone of your house or using a transfer kit type system for the entire house?

I are agreeant with Gritz's short answer. But there's a whole lot of info between the short answer and actually doing it. This has been discussed both her and on IRV2 a number of times; normally in hurricane season.

That's potentially dangerous. Backfeeding power into the house this way can send voltage into the wires feeding the home from the pole (or underground) with the potential to electrocute utility workers or anyone else who comes into contact with the supply wires. The ONLY way that can be done safely is to turn off the house's main breaker before activating the generator, and disconnecting the generator before turning the main breaker back on. A transfer switch is the MUCH safer route to take.

Without a doubt a certified electrician would take care of the house side.
Who would take care of the RV side ?

But the real answer...run an extension cord to the home fridge from your outside electrical outlet of the MH and just sleep in the Palazzo until the power comes back on. If you're looking for a more permanent setup, get a separate generator for the house and wire in an Alliance Transfer Switch.

If you are just going to plug in a fridge and maybe a freezer, yes. If you are wanting to go thru the breaker box and power the house then ABSOLUTELY NO!!!

I have used MH generator to power the fridge a couple of times during power outages, slept in the MH with AC a couple of times during the summer.

If your house has a gas furnace you also can power it with your MH. Just need to buy and install a manual transfer switch for the furnace. About $100. You CAN run your power through the house’s breaker box if you install a whole house transfer switch. It’s a pretty big and expensive deal and you still won’t have enough power to run your whole house like normal. Much easier to run select items on an extension cord and live in the MH as recommended .
