Class A roof leak

I have owned a 2017 Axix25.2 and a 2018 Windsport 29 m. Both have roof leak issues. I'm taking the Windsport in Monday to CW to have it fixed I hope!?!?!?!? Does anyone have suggestions on this repair or is there a company that sells or installs a quality, aftermarket one piece roof cover??? I'm anal about my coach being " Dried In"!!!!

I feel that my re-roof from rvroof.com is a good product...and DW likes that it's now more quiet on the road.

sorry for my short post before....was in a rush

when I did mine, the price was basically in line with about the same price as having a shop replace the traditional roof membrane. I think it offers some obvious advantages over the traditional though.

I didn't do mine because the roof membrane was shot though...& I suppose most folks don't either.... most probably do it to never have to caulk again.

It also make it a bit more quiet...and I think adds a small R-Value increase too.

If you do consider it, I have some coupons they gave me, stashed away somewhere. Not worth much, but something.... like $20 bucks off, and they send me a $5 rebate, something like that....not much, but something....Not enough to make my review slanted in any way to them. I'm truly just a happy customer.

Roof leak on 29M

Same problem here. They can't seem to find it. Leaks above dash at each side but only if front of RV is lower, as in leaving a driveway. Acts like it is leaking further back and migrating to the front. Did they resolve yours?

Question: Were you inspecting the condition of your roof on a "regular" basis?
(About once every six Months...)

Perhaps its not the roof? Did you check around the windshield gasket or side windows?

Agree with checking the windshield gasket. It’s an often overlooked but quite fragile joint. RVs flex and move a good bit when on the road and that big hunk of glass doesn’t have any “give” in it at all. It’s really easy to seal with a tube of windshield sealer from the auto parts store. It’s like really thin watery silicone that flows where the water goes and then sets up like regular silicone. I recently did mine and I was amazed how much of the stuff it consumed. I actually did it in two phases allowing the first dose to set up. I was afraid it was going to start coming out where the water came in!

Good idea, I have not noticed this auto window silicon before.... I will keep that in mind for my future needs.

I did add some silcone to the tops of my side windows for peice of mind. Too many posting (Axis/vegas related) with wood damage under the windows due to failed window seals.

Very wise in my opinion. It’s hard to be over diligent when it comes to water leaks! Check often and renew anything that looks like it’s even beginning to break down.

Had heavy rain this week and while level on jacks there is no leaking, at least in two days. As soon as I raise jacks and front of RV lowers a little, water runs down. Almost think its near A/C or something and puddling

I have a hard time tinking that you need a new roof on a year old coach, and think that thor should get involved....the roof is supposed to be a 25 yr roof...

Right above the driver and passenger headliner corner points

Right above the driver and passenger headliner corners, but only when braking or the front is lower than the rear.
