coleman mach 15 poss issue?

Hi everyone,
I put a new Coleman Mac 15 in my motorhome, AC works really good.. BUT... When I turn the thermostat (Auto) to Cool, and high fan, the compressor immediately turns on and so does the fan. If i remember correctly, my previous AC would have the fan come on first, then about 30 seconds the compressor would kick in. Also, when the temp reaches the correct temp, it shuts down completely and the fan doesn't run for a min or so after.. Is this normal? I would swear the fan runs first turning on, then compressor, and on shutdown, the compressor goes off, then fan runs a bit then shuts down... Any suggestions would be very helpful. thanks! PS. I have the stock thermostat, that was not changed, and no wires were changed when installing new one, plug in play...

Our fan has to be on auto, here's a picture.
Try setting your fan on auto if the thermostat has auto.

Let us know.

Hi,
I have a different thermostat, but when I have it on auto, cool, turn temp down, compressor and fan immediately come
On… and when it cools to the correct temp, everything shuts off together… is this normal for my thermostat? I attached a photo of my thermostat… I did notice if I turn my thermostat on Fan high/low , and to cool, the fan constantly runs nonstop and the condenser will come on and off as needed…

Your operation is normal.
