Contoure Refrigerator

I have a 2021 Four Winds, the Contouri Refrigerator stopped working, freezer working fine.

Any insight as to cause and possible repair options?

Google says no such thing as a "Contouri" refrigerator. Is it maybe a Contoure 12 volt fridge?

Does the fridge have 2 temp knobs one for freezer and one for fridge? Or does it have single knob for both?

We have a Contoure residential and it is 110 VAC and our coach has an inverter to run it. Maybe they also make a 12 volt DC version but they definitely make one that is 110 VAC. I understand that Contoure is a brand name of a company that Thor owns and they make fridges and microwaves for RV's.

Jim, I have the same problem with my 2022 Thor Miramar 37.1 Contoure fridge. Did you ever get an answer to freezer works great but refrigerator warm condition?

The freezer usually feeds the fridge with cold air...check for slider vents in the back of fridge under the freezer line or a control knob for fridge temps...which ultimately would do the same function. It could be food/containers blocking the air flow from the freezer into the fridge.

Thanks Gritz Carlton. I am on the right track then. We had emptied the fridge and two hours later no change. I thought maybe the passage way was froze up with ice. My fridge controls are electronic and not a physical knob so not sure the vents are actually opening. Tried looking up through the vents with camera, but cant see anything changing. Thanks again!

I have a 2021 Thor Miramar 37.1 and the Contoure residential refrigerator is 110 volts. It operates off of generator/shore power or the inverter. There are controls for it inside the refrigerator that control the temps with a push button controller. Mine has been working correctly and cools down rapidly. Sounds like an issue between the freezer and refrigerator. The freezer supplies the cold air to the refrigerator.

Per technical services Contoured we set the refrigerator at coldest, freezer setting cold only.

We keep unit on.

Dealer also confirmed this.

Many fridge / freezer combos use an evaporator fan in the freezer that pushes the cold air into the fridge section. If that fan stops working, the freezer can be cold but the fridge portion will be warmer than normal.

The controls (manual or electric) determine how much air is diverted to the fridge from the freezer to regulate the temperature.

I had the evaporator fan fail in my Whirlpool and it behaved the same way after only one year. The freezer was fine but the cold air was not getting down to the fridge. Once I replaced the evaporator motor, it has worked fine ever since.

I will check the evaporator fan as I never hear a fan running nor do I feel any air movement from the vents.

Freezer get cold quick.

I will probably call Bill in Tech service also as this should be under warranty still.
