Converter fan

2017 freedom elite 26he.
Is the converter fan supposed to shut off?

Yes, eventually.

Normally starts up full speed at plug-into shore power
Then the fan slows a bit after a few minutes
Then eventually shuts down

Unless batteries aren’t “taking” a charge.
That is, batteries are bad

Even if batteries are fully charged the fan will run if you have enough other DC loads.

One more question. Will the fan run until batteries are charged? Also the relay gets hot [emoji91]

On my Thor OEM WFCO Converter/Charger with my 6mo old battery bank…
- the fan generally shuts off after 5 or so minutes

Once my battery meter gets to about 13.0 during the charge, the fan goes off.

So in answer to your question…
- generally, once the Battery is near full charge the fan goes off
