Damage to tire.....Thoughts on this pic?

I noticed this on my drivers side front tire. It has me quite worried. I don’t know how long it’s been there. It’s not very deep, maybe 2-3 mm and does not leak air.

2018 Windsport 34J F53 I run at 95 PSI, Goodyear RV G670 245/70R19.5. Roughly 7000 miles on the rig.

What should I do, take it to Goodyear or just keep on rolling?

^^ agreed ASAP. That is the section with the most flex and heat build up. More important than the mileage would be the mfg. date stamp on RV tires. It's very rare for RV tires to (tread depth) wear out.
On a good note, GY is very good about standing behind their products.

In the second picture it looks like two sets of three small holes on the sidewall equally spaced distance on each side from the crack. Possible you may have hit something on the road? Either way, replacement is a cheap fix vs. a flat or blow out on the road.

I'm happy to see that you found it before it became a call to a Towing service!

That crack is unusual, extends from the tread cap into sidewall. likely grounds for replacement. Does not seem to be a cut) Small routine cracks, weatherchecking, runs around the sidewall and is normal.

Gritz- those are mold whiskers from manufacture.

It would be a good idea to check all other tires as well.

Check and see if they were made in China. Several years back I had 4 of my new TT Goodyear tires separate. Goodyear gave me a credit for them, but no compensation for changing two of them on an I-84 and I-95.

I would definitely bring it to Goodyear and have them check it out. It doesn't look like a cut to me, just my opinion but maybe a straight on curb hit or maybe even a defect.

Thank you all for your diagnosis. I’ll be taking it into Goodyear on Monday. I’ll post the outcome.
