Trying to repair damage to shower. Does anyone have any ideas? It is where the panel meets the shower pan, I have attached a picture.

If your are just trying to stop water intrusion, silicone caulk. Silicone caulk comes in multiple colors and after applying it (I've used plenty in my career in sheet metal) get your finger wet with saliva and smooth it out.
You can peel it off later if you decide on a different repair.
( someone smarter than I said "Nothing is more permanent than a temporary solution")

How about layering some epoxy in and around that hole?

I would also use a bead if silicone around the bottom of the panel with a little excess up and around the damage.

Why would you Penetrate both the wall and pan lip?

I would head down to your local big box hardware store and look at their aluminum "trim" pieces (flat bar). Get one as long as that side of the shower (8' x 3/4" is about $12) and some stainless finish screws, remove all those push-pin connectors, get your silicone caulk out and the stainless finish screws and make your own waterproof trim piece.

I had a small crack and silicon caulk worked well and was watertight. With a crack this big I agree with the aluminum trim repair. If you use caulking behind it and temporarily brace it in place for 24 hours it should hold without screws but you could put in 2 to be sure.

I would use vinyl quarter round, 3/4" x 3/4"...on the back side of quarter round dish out area so it will lay flat over the exposed fastener...use clear rtv first then push the quarter round down into into...use painters tape to hold in place for a day then final caulk the quarter round top and bottom...You would have to trim the entire bottom to make it look factory

Lightly sand the entire area and then place fiberglass resin on with actual fiberglass on top with additional resin. The area will be water proof and actually stronger.
