Door Window Fell Apart

I had this happen on my 2018 Axis 25.5. I was going to post about this also to find out the best solution. My picture went sideways.

That part is inherently engineered to fall apart at 6 months. The black goop doesn't stand up to the heat from the sun. You're lucky it stayed in one piece. I put mine in the BR closet 2 years ago and used aluminum from the inside. It helps.on heat reduction and blocks light at night. Let me know what you use to repair it.

Isn't that an aftermarket add on? Our 2016 didn't have that panel.

If you want it totally blocked, you could paint the remaining glass panel.

This is the window in the entry door on a Axis. The inner glass pane came loose and will not stick back on. I was looking for where to get the black double sided foam adhesive tape. It is only about 1/4” wide and 1/4” high around the perimeter between the inner and outer panes of glass. This post was supposed to go eight threads before about window insulation. That’s why it was confusing. Sorry

That happened on my Hurricane a few months after I purchased it. I used black RTV to reattach and haven't had any trouble in the last 4 years.
