Drivers side mirror

Made my trip from Ohio to Florida and back with no major issue, other than coach battery voltage going low after a couple of hours, batteries are probably getting weak, but the drivers side mirror came loose and started moving in the wind, the set screw that locks it in place stripped out so I ran a bolt in to hold it in place, anyone else have this and what did you do other than replace the whole mirror assembly, mine has electric mirrors and side camera, with turn signals, oh and the engine heater in this thing sucks it got warm but I still about froze to death driving home the inside temp was 56 driving down the road.

I had that problem on a previous coach. Although the four screws holding the mirror to the wall appeared screwed in tight, the real problem was elsewhere. Turned out that water intrusion had occurred into the screwholes and the integrity of the wall was affected. So the wall was actually flexing from wind pushing on the mirror. On that coach I was able to cut a 1"4" board which I held in place inside, under the dash as I secured the new, longer screws from the outside of the mirror all the way through the sidewall into the 1"4". BTW- I resealed all the possible areas where water could enter before making that sandwich with the wall in the middle. Never had another problem with water intrusion nor shaking mirror syndrome.

I did run it when stopped but the manual said not to run furnace driving down the road, but I did fiqure out on the last 100 miles I can run the generator and use the heat pumps on the a/c units and kept the temp more comfortable.
