cable coax

After having thor replace a windshield, and put shims in our big slide, my cable coax is open? Any suggestions.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand the question.

You're going to need to find out where it's disconnected.

If the coax was accidentally cut during the slide work, they, (or you), can splice a new section onto the end.

You might want to request a wiring diagram for your coach from Thor Customer Service. It can give you an idea how the wire was originally routed. But, where a slide is concerned, it's usually obvious where the cable was likely pinched.

We found out our main cable entrance wire was bad... would deliver an ok picture on higher channels - very snowy on lower... but really showed up when we tried to use high speed internet - modem wouldn't detect any signal.
Tech tried getting a tone across the cable from entrance to distribution box - and nothing... (That won't work thru a splitter - but I can't see a reason for a splitter having been used in that run..)

I don't see any good way to run a replacement inside the RV (video distribution box is front passengers side - and external cable jack is rear drivers...) so thinking to drop down from the cabinet thru the floor (cover wire with molding where visible) - run the wire under the rig in plastic loom from front to back - then come back up through the floor behind the bedroom cabinet and to the rear of the exterior jack (visible with drawers out...)

Open for better suggestions - I haven't come up with one yet...
In the meantime using a wire from the cable box coming thru a window... but the hard rain will have me moving it to come in under the slide until I get the new cable, loom, and molding...

Here's what I'm considering using:
Cable: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003FVX8GE
Loom: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H9L1M3W
(this is 5/8 but out of stock.. might go to 1/2 or try to find locally...)
Molding Kit: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015EDVVU

GMC -- the routing you suggested is probably be exactly what I would do. Trying to route eirevthrpugh the walls with the metal studs and through block installation sounds just about impossible to me.
