Electrical Issues - 2016 Thor Outlaw - 26K Chassis
I recently started having the following electrical issues:
1 - Head lights will not turn off - the A, B, and C, positions do nothing
A - Off
B - Parking lamps, instrument panel lamps, license plate lamps and tail lamps
C - Headlamps
2 - Fog lights do not work
3 - Dash lights do not work
4 - No Tail Light
5 - No clearance lights
Dealer has had to call in Ford engineering assistance. Seems that either the shop manual is incorrect or Ford didn't install the circuit when the chassis was built; I tend to go with the first explanation since I know the lights were functioning in the past -
I thought I would reach out and see if anyone else has come across this issue - I'm going to cross-post to iRV2 as well -
Thanks and be safe -
Charles

UGH!
Just having a mobile RV guy rewire main harness because a "recommended" RV dealer (replacing stud bolts on 454 exhaust manifold) broke all the clamps holding the wiring loom to the inside of the left frame rail next to left manifold... sooo the loom & wires melted and shorted out which also caused the loom to the fuse panel to melt... Took about a week for everything to go flooie.... and on the side of the interstate..during rush hours on end..... revisited my younger days and wild ways ........"hot wired" it to get off the road,

I would really question if you have a headlight switch or fuse panel that has shorted out...ie: all of those items go thru the headlight switch one way or the other..
The turn signal stalk also has high/low beam
Also may be part of the ignition switch as that powers all

Those were my exact thoughts, but the tech says they already checked all of the "easy" stuff to fix and it all checks OK - Their senior electrical tech is supposed to be the "bomb" - he says that he has never run across anything like this before -

Headlight issues
HI Crey0517
The issue I am having is when I turn the light knob to headlights then the only thing that happens is the full beam light on the console indicates that it is on, but the headlights and full beam do not come on, and the camera comes on showing the reverse position.
My parking lights come on when I go from off position, to parking lights, but goes off (as they should) when going to Headlight position. Going from headlight position back down to parking lights, then the parking lights will not come on.
If I use my indicators then the both of them will flash at the same time, even though on my console it only indicates one flashing. Does not matter if it is the right indicator or left, both will lights will flash as if hazards are on.
Any thoughts would be appreciated
Thanks\ Happy Holidays

Mine was crushed wiring caused when Thor set the box on the chassis. Tech had to cut out wiring and spice in a couple of new runs. The crushed wiring also lead to my fuel pump driver module burning up 5 times, leaving us stranded on the side of the road. After numerous "tows" to Ford Dealers, the last shop found more crushed wiring and a crushed plug. We still have phantom 12 volt issues. Good luck!!

Of all the issues an RV can have, probably electrical problems are the most difficult to resolve. Wish you luck finding and resolving.
