Emergency window

I opened our emergency window on our 2019 windsport 29m but now it binds when closing. Anyone knows how to reset the window. Called Thor and said to call a dealer in our area. It's after 5pm so everyone has gone home.
We were going to leave bright and early in the am but might have to put it on hold.
I attached 2 pics

You're lucky it's not laying on the ground in a thousand pieces - they're made to open and fall out of the way for exit.

Yeah I didn’t know you could just randomly open them. I thought it was a safety feature for it to get out of the way.

Using a step ladder, grasp the bottom of the window pane and while slightly lifting it, giggle it. It needs to re-seat itself on the upper 'hinge'. Don't rotate the window out or it will come off the hinge. When it is reset, it will swing down and you can close the latch.

Some can open and have latches and screens for that reason. Depends on the window

Thanks for all your quick replies. For some reason the frame was bent and would not set in the groove. Well I forced it a little too much and it exploded in my face, just a couple cuts on the nose. Ha called our insurance company Foremost here in az and they will come out and replace the glass. Foremost in az has a zero deductible on glass and they don't raise your rates when using them. Had the front windshield replaced 2 months ago for 0 dollars.

Sorry to read that the situation "blew up in your face" like that!
Getting the glass replaced is one thing: can the frame be repaired?

Called
Foremost insurance company and they set me up with a window company. They ordered a whole new window and frame from the manufacturer and it was in stock. Should arrive within a week and then a local glass company will install. Can't believe the good luck. Thanks for all the help from a great forum.

I don't think this is a universal truth.

Having concerns about this problem, I unlatched my emergency window and went outside on a step stool to see how far I could open it while hanging on.
(to keep it from hitting the ground)
I didn't go all the way to 90 degrees, but I had it at least to 45 degrees and it was still connected.
For purposes of ventilation, I would probably never open it past 35 degrees.

I still need to figure out how to make a screen for this window so that I can get that needed ventilation in the bedroom.
(the window has an emergency handle in the way, and rounded corners at the bottom)

BTW - We have a THOR ACE 2019 30.3

We also have an ACE a 2018 27.2 and I was told at purchase not to open the rear bedroom emergency exit window, it may fall out as it is designed to allow quick exit. I advise not trying to use an emergency window that didn't come with a factory installed screen for ventilation. Inevitably some one will open it too far and it WILL drop out on the ground, it is designed to.

I read not to open more than 25 degrees on the 2018 Ace 29.3. Freaking me out so I won’t open it.

Since my post of 5/19/21. I purchased the parts to make a screen that looks like OEM.

It was not cheap.
It included 2 90 degree radius corners, and 2 hard 90 degree corners + the channels for the rest of the assembly. These channels are the expensive part, but only one manufacture makes this combination. No doubt for RV's only. Even the spline is a one off. It is tiny.
I used screen material I already had laying around.

Then using velcro, I attached the screen. It works/looks great. This added bit of ventilation is HUGE! I should take a picture and post.

Again, as posted above, I tested the window to make sure it doesn't fall out.
