Engine hood latches on Windsport 29M

Just purchased a 2019 Windsport 29M. Would like to check oil but not sure how to open hood. There are two circular key opening ( kinda looks like a soda machine key) but I don’t know watch way to turn them or how to pull off the cowl.

Don't recall off-hand if key turns left or right, but if memory serves it's left (counterclockwise) on our '15 Windsport to unlock.

Again - if the same as ours, it's just a pull forward and UP on the cowl handles to lift it up.

Closing and locking back in place is a bigger challenge for mine....

I also have a 29m. Looking at the motorhome, the hood locks go counter clockwise to loosen and clockwise to open. To lift the hood, pull out then up. My hood was stiff at first but became easier to move the more I used it.

you are welcome....

On a side note, we had issues with the kitchen sink drain pipe. You might want to unscrew the bottom shelf under the sink. Make sure your drainage hose is moving properly when the slide moves in and out. Mine broke the 2nd time using it and I had to come up with a better fix.

And I got clever and spray lube the hinge joints and now the hood drops like a guillotine! So don't lube (actually the gas shocks to wimpy).
