Our engine light came on in our 2018 Thor Vegas driving back from Florida in our 2018 Thor Vegas 25.3😔. Any ideals?

CEL can come on for many reasons. You will need to use a code reader to figure out why. Most auto parts stores can pull a code for you.

Get a 20 ton crane with a 10 ton wrecking ball to recalibrate the whose a ma done it valve

Note: you asked for ideas and this is as good as anyone else can provide without adequate diagnostic equipment and access to the rig.

Did you recently get an oil change where they changed out the air filter?

If so check that clamshell holding the air filter. It is a pain to get to on Axis/Vegas units so they may not have closed it properly.

We had a similar issue. The check engine light was due to the computer detecting a lean condition (unmetered air was getting into the engine because the air filter canister wasn't closed).

There ya go: a valid idea (and one easy enough to check).

Sometimes a loose or missing gas cap will cause an eng. light. Not sure if it does on the Vegas though.
Forgot to add what others have said; if the visuals don't fix it as suggested, go get it checked for usually free at most auto parts stores and you will know.

That happen to us once with our Rig, Thor dealership said you good to make it home.

Our engine ate itself!

3 months later we got our rig back with new engine!

Hate to state the obvious but the Thor dealer should have nothing to do with a check engine light. Ford warranty and roadside assistance.

Thor dealers are not remotely qualified to perform drive train maintenance to include spelling engine for a service ticket.
