Engine Light On, Reg or Premium Gas
We have a 2017 Freedom Elite with the V10 engine. The engine light came on and was diagnosed with miss-firing. After taking it in for service everything was cleaned etc but was told that the injectors might have to be replaced and it was because of using regular gas and not premium. I was advised to run injector cleaner (Seafoam) and have done so now with every other fill up, also using premium, doesn't seem to be a problem driving but the engine light stays on constantly even after resetting the computer.
Anyone else experience this problem and what did you do about it??

Go to auto parts store and have is tested for new code. What gas does the Manual call for.

I agree with cavie...... find another dealer or shop. The V10 Triton only requires 87 octane.

Was this diagnosis done by a reputable Ford Service Center of by Camping World?
Take the rig to a reputable Ford Service Center and have them read the codes. Having owned many many Fords over my lifetime I will tell you that running with the check engine light on constantly can cause problems. One common problem of a misfire is cheap (waterlogged or dirty) gas and that can cause a misfire, and can damage O2 sensors which can cause an engine light to come on. Again, pay a visit to a Ford Service Center.

Find someone with a good scanner. It will tell you which cylinder is miss firing.
In my previous life as a mechanic, I saw miss firing cause by coil over plug being bad in ford v8s I’m sure the v10 is similar

I owned a Ford dealership and have personally put thousands and thousands of miles on V10s, never used anything but 87 octane. Many of these miles were towing heavy drag racing trailers. Time to find a good quality Ford dealership to properly diagnose your issues.

We had several of the V10s & V8s at work, broken spark plugs & cam sensors were the 2 main problems with all of them.
Buy your fuel at a busy station that gets fuel delivered regularly to avoid getting stall/old fuel. As for fuel quality, it's all regulated very closely so that shouldn't be an issue wherever you buy it.

Why isn't the 2017 still under factory Warranty?
Miles?
What did your extended warranty company say?
I'd like to see the write up, I'm not sure the op is understanding what was said.
The torque app and a $12 obd2 reader will tell you what you need to know if you don't want to bother autozone or similar to read your code.
Too many wrong things in the op to venture a guess as to what's what.

We had the same problem with a miss fire. Turned out it was bad gas I got from a Exxon. Reset with code reader and never had a problem since. ( over 10,000 miles ago).

Despite Ford’s dire warnings the V10s run fine on 85 Octane at altitude. They haven’t repealed the laws of physics or thermodynamics.

Has anyone used the FIXD computer analyzer? After I got a Check Engine Light indication. I went to the nearest Ford dealer and they checked it out with their analyzer. It indicated a Misfire. They reset it and it hasn't came on again. I purchased a FIXD analyzer that I can read with Bluetooth on my phone. I've driven about 2,000 miles since without a Check Engine Light. Hopefully this FIXD thing does work?

I've had the V10 engine in a 2000 F350, a 2000 Fleetwood Bounder 36 foot Class A, and now in a Thor Miramar. I've never used anything except regular and never had any problems.

I had the same problem took in to Ford dealer to find out that I had some kind of critter living on engine at some point and chewed a couple of wires going to injectors. Was able to fix in about an hour or so couple of hundred dollars later I was good to go. I now put cotton balls with peppermint oil and a few chunks of Irish spring soap on engine when I put away for winter.

If your check engine light is on constantly, the issue is NOT the gasoline. You can get a pretty good OBD reader at Harbor Freight for less than $100.00 or just go to an O'Reilly Auto store or Autozone and ask them to read the codes; it's a free service.
Please post back your results when resolved.
