Extra water
My freshwater tank is filling on its own even though my manifold rotor value is set to city water supply ????? Any idea where to start ? Bad valve? Is there a check valve in the water pump that might be bleeding past? Unit has been hooked up to city water about 3 weeks now and this just magically started. Tried rotating valve to reseat didn't seem to have any effect. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Even tho mine doesn't fill up hook to city water, mine has an inline valve in the access area to turn off the line coming from the tank. Pretty easy to install one.

Thanks again I was looking at that earlier and idea crossed my mind, yes it does look simple to install a valve to isolate the water pump, but you know how those simple repairs sometimes work out ... lol. Looks like a trip to Lowe's tomorrow to find fittings.

One trip to Lowe's to fix a plumbing issue is a good thing. Its the second trip to get the extra parts you didn't think you would need...
Seems to happen with plumbing projects more than anything else - at least when it comes to 'sticks and bricks' houses... (Oh - you thought that shutoff valve would work? lol)

Only two trips? Gee, you're a whizz. It always takes me three. One for the stuff I think I need. Two for the stuff I find out that I need. And 3 for the stuff I broke getting the old stuff out.
What? You never had that happen to you? Guess you never worked on an old house or an old boat. Go to replace one joint and a nipple. Then chase back three joints and four lengths of pipe before you find something good enough to start back from. Story of my life...

Its never a good project unless you've made multiple trips to the home improvement store!

Unfortunately, my nearest Home Depot or Lowes is over 35 miles away, I have lots of parts in my shed that I thought I might need.

I typically get away with 2 trips. First trip to buy lots and lots of fittings, valves that on the off chance I might need and second trip to return all the stuff I didn't use.

ours was caused by leaky Anderson 4way valve Cartridge - a replacement cartridge can fix it, as we did several times, but I found that the best long term solution is to install an in- line cut off valve - keep it turned off when not using the water pump or filling the tank... $8
...did the same on our leaky toilet valve, an in-line cutoff allows us to turn it off from a sticky valve periodically filling and overflowing the tank : /

I had same thing happen on my 2015 Vegas. There apparently was a piece of debris stuck in the pump check valve. There was actually water coming out the overflow next to the fresh water tank fill. I turned off shore water and turned on the pump and opened a faucet for about 2 or 3 minutes. It was enough to dislodge the debris in the check valve.
Turned off pump. Turned shore water back on and haven't had the problem again in 6 separate camping trips on shore water.

Three trips is what I figure the average is per project. If maybe one project takes one trip for some strange reason. The next project could take five trips. It all works out to three per project in the end.

Ed Felker we had the exact same thing on our first trip. Bad check valve internal to water pump, water trickling out overflow. Replaced pump under warranty.

Same here, buy a whole cart full & return what wasn't needed, but usually between what I actually needed/used & what I broke not much to return.

I just throw extra parts in a box in case I might need it later, have several boxes now!
