Windshield Protection

So we've been out with the Coach several times and last trip we ended up with a small chip/crack in the windshield. Joy! It's pretty small, about the size the nail on your pinky. I'm going to have it repaired, but have a question on protection in the future.

I've seen several products crystal fusion, diamon fusion (frankly, they look like different names for the same product) and was wondering if anyone has used them? They look pretty expensive.

Any thoughts or recommendations for windshield protection other than crossing my fingers and hope it doesn't occur again?

Thanks,

Simple! Keep a 1 mile distance between your windshield and the closet vehicle you are following!

What do you do about that cowboy who just passed you and threw a rock up in the air and put a chip in my windshield the first time out? Joy! Maybe the simple way is to never take the motorhome anywhere.

Crystal Fusion

After doing many internet searches, I have decided this product is not likely to protect my windshield from rocks kicked up by other cars etc. RainX will help with rain and bugs etc. and costs way less.
