F550 chassis to coach seam water leak

Good morning

I have a 4Winds 35sk on a Ford 550 chassis. I have noticed that when driving on wet pavement, water is seeping in on the seam between the cab and where coach starts. I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this and what was the fix. I was looking for the easy button here.

I havent gotten underneath and looked for the obvious yet, nor have I removed the seam cover.

Just wondering what might be the best approach forward.

Any ideas?

It’s a somewhat common problem with the Super C’s at the wing walls where the house meets the cab. Thor does a poor job….. or sometimes no job…. sealing up the wing walls.

Pull the interior wing wall trim pieces behind the driver and passnger seat and you will see gaps between the sides and the floor.

A combination of adhesive sealant and spray foam should do the trick and make it drier and quieter.

When you pull that panel out and look between there like the judge said, you might want to check your steps, my steps or poorly installed, and one side nearest the passenger seat dropped about 2 inches I had to go back in and reconstruct them. They’re not gonna come down now. Didn’t see any obvious signs of water damage to the floor and I didn’t see a gap. Good luck by the way I have a 2017 35SK so far I’ve had good luck with it. We took it out west for 5000 mile trip did well. The only problem I had was the cold side intake blew which is a common thing with the 6.7’s. They had an issue with him fixed now shouldn’t have an issue.
