WRT111SFDM04 freezer does not make it to 0°F

Well, i have a Thor Miramar 37.1 whirpool residential fridge.

WRT111SFDM04

I have tried setting freezer control and refridge to recommended setting. Waiting 24 hours And then setting freezer to coldest(airflow) and fridge to max(temp control)...

Waited 24 hours.


With a remote inside freezer thermostat, (on floor of fridge)

I get reading from 14 to 1.9. Every 3 hours or so. But not below 0.

Seems my 3 foot college fridge was more dependable

Any one have the same issue and what how to resolve.

Well I don’t have a residential fridge in my RV but it seems like your freezer is doing it’s job - single digit temps should be fine. Are you occupying the coach now with the AC running? If it’s hot inside and out ANY refrigerator is going to have more trouble than if it is surrounded by “normal” household temps.

Our Whirlpool French door fridge will drop to zero in less than 4 hours in hot weather

I would check everything inside outside the fridge

Luckily in 5 years no issues

Thanks for the reply.. I guess the real issue that it takes 72 hours to harvest one tray of ice.... The temp reading was on the bottom of the Freezer. On however at the top of freezer (where the ice maker is) it takes the full 72 hours to get to below 32F By the time we get ice, we are packing up to head home from our weekend trip.
