FM Radio Antenna Replacement

When checking my roof seals, I noticed the antenna for the dash radio is broken. Picture is attached. I have a 2018 Thor A.C.E. 30.4.

Does anyone know what would be the best repair option? I'd prefer not to have to remove the entire antenna and wires to the dash, but can do that for a worst case scenario.

If there's a set screw on what's left that held the mast in place you could easily find the mast at most auto parts stores. Or possibly buy a new antenna that has a similar swivel joint & just use that portion.

Don't mean to insult you but that looks more like an old CB antenna to me? Is there another antenna on the roof?

Try unscrewing the short part that is sticking out of the pivoting base. On our 2015 Windsport 27K the antenna was all cracked up and falling a part. I was able to unscrew the mast and was able to find a generic replacement at the local NAPA store. The new antenna came with multiple threaded connectors that enabled me to attach the new mast to the existing base. There was no need to change the base or wiring. When you get that threaded piece out I would take it to the parts store, it may help insure you get the right adapters. My replacement has been in operation for about 18 months and still working fine. Good luck.

I am now having the same problem with my antenna. Were you able to find another antenna? If so, were? Do you know if this works as your Navigation antenna?
Thanks for any info.

I just replaced my non nav dash radio. The new radio had separate GPS and radio antenna hookups. I used the radio antenna from the original radio and the radio was delivered with the GPS antenna that sits on the dashboard near the windshield.

Have you checked to see if you can unscrew the black part of the antenna? While I have not tried to unscrew mine the mast part kind of looks like this one.

Or maybe like this?

At $12 dollars it is worth a try to see if you can just screw the mast part onto your old base.

I just stepped out and took a photo of the antenna on my ACE. It appears to me that the first link I sent you is a good candidate. Or maybe this one which looks just like mine.

You should be able to unscrew what is left of the old mast from the base and just screw the new mast onto the old base.
