Ford chassis work

Anyone have advice on finding a ford dealer to do warranty work on f53 chassis? I’ve called the 800 number (zero help) and now I am going through the Ford commercial vehicle web page. To date the nearest one to verify they can work on it is 5+ hours away.

What type of chassis work?
I ask because it might not have to be repaired by Ford but can be done in just about any town by just about any mechanic or frame shop. You'll have to decide about paying $100 for the repair against the strife you're facing trying to find a warranty shop. .
And
It's a MotorHome. Five hours wouldn't be a long enough trip for us.
If you insist on a dealer, make an pleasant adventure of it.

I had to guess at the $100 because you didn't say what the problem was.
If it's an alignment, you're probably on your own for payment.
And
All we know is Missouri. In the right spot in Missouri EVERYTHING is five hours away.

Need a rear axle seal replaced and it should be warranty work. I’ve found a couple of places near by that can do it but not under Ford warranty.

Weigh the money they want for such a simple repair against the fuel and time to go for warranty repair.

I sure wouldn't drive to Phoenix for such a thing.

But
Make sure it's not under recall.
I'm vaguely remembering some rear end problems being nationally addressed if not recalled.

Your problem is what Ford pays for is: a 4 post lift that can lift 25,000 lbs and do a 1 hour job. That takes an outside lift or a large building with a clear 20 ft ceiling. Of course the shop could have service pit but the cost of insurance makes them impracticable. A shade tree guy will use a couple 20 ton jacks and cribbage and take most of a day. Ford won't pay for that. Iron Horse RV has an outside 4 post lift 50 ft long and it is rated at 30 tons. It is interesting to see A Newmar London Air 7 ft in the air. Evidently, even a $900,000 coach needs some repairs. <http://www.ironhorserv.com/rv-service/>

Midway Truck in Kansas City says they can do it. That’s about 3 1/2 hrs drive and they say they will work with us to get it done same day (without complications). Thanks for the responses.

There might be a complication.
There's a thread from earlier in the year where the op didn't tell the shop the length of the rv. Drove about 4 hours to find out they couldn't do it.
Another about a kenworth where the op didn't tell them it was a MotorHome and was turned away.

Make sure they have ALL the details.
