Ford maintenance

Hi again, what I mean about the the Ford routine maintenance ( oil changes etc. ) can they be done at a place such as Camping World or does it have to be done at a Ford garage ?? Will it void my Ford chassis warranty if I do not go to a Ford garage for a simple thing as an oil change ??

Getting your oil changed isn't going to void your warranty. I've been changing my own oil for years because I don't trust the kid at Jiffy Lube getting the oil right and not (over or under) tightening the drain bolt. I use Mobil 1 Syn and want to know that is exactly what is going into my engine.

The only way Ford could deny warranty coverage is if you blew your engine, etc. and they found that the oil level was low. More or less negligence on your part.

Federal warranty act allows for service to be performed by anyone as long as the owner maintains records that the service was performed at the specified time interval. The records requirements include receipts for parts if you perform the service yourself or the service invoice if it was performed somewhere else.
