Use/Store solenoid question

We just had our Vegas in to replace the solenoid for the second time. That's right, we're on our 3rd one. What would cause them to go bad? Also, is there a higher quality alternative to the unit that Thor uses?

Usually it is the 5 amp in-line fuse on the solenoid that fails. Can't imagine replacing two solenoids. Oh well.

The fuse was still good both times. I wish it was the fuse.

Is it possible that your use/store switch is incorrectly wired so that the solenoid coil is getting power all the time instead of just when you press use or store? I can see that burning out the coil (and draining batteries) pretty quickly.

I'll check that tomorrow.
