Tuscany 2013 slide

We just purchased a 2013 Tuscany and in the demo I noticed the slide behind the driver seat coming in on a slant . So I had them check it out and they are replacing all the gears. Just a heads up.

We have a 2014 Four Winds Super C and it was doing the same thing. It spent the first three month of it's life getting the Swinteck slide system straightened out. It was installed completely wrong at the factory. Camping World ended up replacing motors, rollers and plates before it finally was correct. The repair didn't take that long but figuring out what the problem was gave everyone a headache. If you have any questions regarding this problem I can probably direct you to the right source. Good Luck...

When you say slant, do you mean from top to bottom, or from front to rear?

These new "super" slides are very heavy and tend to nose dive on the way in but lift up as they complete they close. I think due tothe lack of carpet under them they limit rollers as a concern for the vinyl floor.

If this is a Schwintek in-wall slideout make sure you have the largest high torque motors. My original equipment were smaller motors and had to be replaced because the slide would never move in or out properly. This system does not seem to work well with large heavy slides.
