Unhappy Fresh Water Tank ???

I recently purchased a 2019 Four Winds 22B. I connected my fresh water hose to the "city water" connection thinking that I would bypass my fresh water tank and just have water at my taps on command. However, when I returned to my RV I discovered water dripping from my onboard water connection and saw that my fresh water holding tank was full. Are the two systems connected somehow? Is there a valve I need to switch to bypass the onboard water tank? Or perhaps the tanks are mislabled? Any input is greatly appreciated from this "Newbie"! Donna

There's a one-way valve in there, that is supposed to keep this from happening.
But it sometimes get clogged up, and doesn't close.
Just remove it, and clean it out: you'll be as good as new!

And welcome to the forum!

Can you see where you water enters into your RV (from the inside.... Mine is under my bed where my fresh water tank is).

I can see the hoses come into the RV. One goes to the water tank (plus you will see a vent tube) and the other connects somewhere AFTER the water pump (But I never traced mine since it works fine). Look in that area.

I dont think you can "flush it out"....I bet you can unscrew it and clean it or replace it.

Let us know what you find.

It's integral to the water pump. Turn off the city water, run water through your pump for several minutes to flush it out. You may also want to check the suction strainer for bits of plastic from the tank and clean it out.
