Rain-X on that BIIIIIIG Windsheild!

Why didn't someone tell me about this stuff before?????

Some of my antique car buddies had told me they use Rain-X on their windshields because the old cars don't have great wipers. (The water repellent, not the washer fluid)

Since we were headed for the Washington Rain Forest, I thought I would give it a try. A little bit of a pain to put on, then buff off, but the result was amazing! Water really streams of quickly and the bugs hardly stick at all.

I just turned the wiper/washers on for a minute every morning, them wiped the windshield clean with a dry rag. a sparkling clean windshield the whole trip! That stuff is going on every windshield I own!

Yep, I been using the stuff since the late 80's. Love it.

You can use it on the outside mirrors, side glass, glass sunroofs (on cars), glass headlight covers (very rare now in days). It will also remove wax and dirt from rubber molding/gaskets and it will remove mineral stains (most of the time) from the glass. Its awesome stuff. I have used in on glass shower doors as well.

Yep - and when cleaning the windshield on longer trips I like to use the RainX spray on windshield cleaner. Works pretty well.

If that biiiiiiig windshield fogs on the inside or the defrosters take a long time to clear it, Rain-X makes a great anti fog spray for the inside of the glass.

And if you find a Blue Beacon truck wash along the way you can have your whole rig rinsed in it!

Love RainX, great product! It comes up here on the forum every now and then.

When you apply it, the light haze comes off easily with a damp microfiber cloth.

It is especially useful with our big Vegas windshield that isn't well covered by the wipers.
