Fuel Injector Cleaner

My 2022 THOR ACE is on the Ford 250 chasis.

At what mileage should I add Motorcraft Fuel injector cleaner?

My gas tank is 80 gallons. One treatment treats about 20 gallons. Does that mean I should add 4 bottles?

Thanks!

Gasoline today already has that in it by refiners. "Chevron with Techron". It's an EPA requirement in the U.S. for all gasoline sold here. You can add what you want but its a waste of money.

If you are intent on running some fuel injector cleaner (and if you use brand name gasoline it is unlikely you need to use it...) Chevron Techron has a good reputation. Rather than adding four bottles to 80 gallons, run the tank down to 1/4 full then add one bottle. Don't run out of gas - fill it up after 50 - 100 miles.

If you're like me and buy fuel from any old station that is available, then one bottle of Lucas in a 1/4 tank is the way to go. I do it every 20 or 30 thousand miles.

Kinda like peeing your pants...if it makes you feel warm and fuzzy...do it. Otherwise it's a waste of money (or underwear).

I must have alot of pee in my pants. I have been putting a bottle in every time i top off the fuel, for 4 yrs. At about 3$ per bottle, So, estimate one per month and 12 months, and 4 yrs, I have about $144 dollars invested in this.

However, My GENSET has never missed a beat or the engine ever lagged one bit in the 4 yrs of operation. I definitely have the fuzzies....Plus, this additive is right next to the RV aisle in Walmart, so i just go by and throw one in the cart.

When the #5 injector on my Chevy v6 starts sputtering a single bottle of this stuff usually fixes it within just a few miles and lasts for a few thousand miles

I bought a gallon of it for the ranch and use it on occasion.
It always seems to do something to calm an idle within just moments.
I know factually it has dropped an idle by 100+rpm in just a short while.

Does anyone remember when this stuff came in a can you where disconnected the fuel line, , screwed the can to the carb, hooked up the can upside down to the open hood and ran a can full through the carb?
Or
A quart of Trans fluid in the gas tank?

Your 'facts' have no merit when plenty of evidence shows they work.

Yes.
There are additives.
Sometimes a swimming pool needs a shock treatment.
