Chateau, I just completed the poly glo job on mine. I first used the poly ox cleaner to remove oxidation. The front and drivers side stay parked toward the Sun. Took a lot of elbow grease. I then proceeded to rinse each section with clear water prior to applying the poly glo as it took several days of scrubbing. I started on the rear. That ended up being my learning curve area. Got to be light coats. And give each time to dry. So after 6 coats it’s got that wet look. I hope it works. I used poly glo based on your recommendation. I know where you live!

I can honestly say I've never used anything but Meguiars wax to this point. I've read that the Poly Glo isn't necessarily a permanent solution. That's where my idea of "self applied" clear coat comes in... a permanent solution to eliminate gelcoat oxidation. But... if so, why don't I hear of it more often in marine applications?
