Agree with 16ace27.... control board first. Particularly if you are experiencing problem in wet conditions.

Likewise, as it lights off I am assuming it’s not the HIGH temp switch. What might cause it to cycle on / off (gas, fan running), but only run about 2 to 3 sec. HELP PLEASE Thanks

I had the same problem that started about a year after we bought our new rig. It rained really heavily one night and it was just as you describe. I could hear the clinking but it would never light off. But, when the sun would come out and it tried out some it would work fine. But soon as it started to rain I would get the same thing. One morning we woke up because the CO alarm went off. I went out to check the unit and there was a bunch of soot shooting out the exhaust. Because my warranty was up, and I taken it to Camping World before with poor results I went to another dealer and repair shop - I have an extended warranty on the rig. They called me back a few days later and said the system was full of soot. Atwood wanted the dealer to clean it out but they said they didn't want to take on the liability. Bottom line, they put a new unit in and it worked fine until a few weeks ago. Now there is no clicking or anything. The fan runs for about 45 seconds and then it shuts down. But, I am going to try and blow it down with compressed air and look at the ignitor. There are some videos on You Tube that give a step by step instruction on how to check the system.
