Furance will not ignite

We have a 2016 Hurricane 34J and this past weekend we took it out for the first time. It got cold enough for the heat, but when I tried to use it, it would not light. The stove and hot water heater work so I have propane, the tank shows full. I tried to purge the system per the instruction manual, but nothing happened. The fan comes on and blows plenty of cold air. Anyone have any ideas of something that I might have missed?

Use the search function in the top brown line and search for "furnace". There are at least half a dozen threads discussing the furnace not lighting or not staying lit. I had the same problem in one of my other RVs that turned out to be a poorly installed flame protector. But, there are lots of things that it could be, from a blocked propane line to a faulty or poorly installed ignition system, to problems with the thermostat, to name a few.

probably air in line you may have to let it cycle several times before it lights.
it should try to light 3 times then fault. Turn off to reset and back on it may take 2 or3 tries

Furnace no light

Thanks for the info, I must have tried it at least six times and it never did even try to light off. I'll keep messing with it until after our trip next month and then take it in and have it checked along with the other minor issues that we have found. On a different note we are extremely happy with it so far, this is the most serious thing that we have found wrong with her. Thanks again!

Is that easily replaced or did it take a repair guy?

I had originally planned on replacing it myself but I took it to the shop for other repairs and they replaced it.
