Total Newbie Question

Hello
I purchased a pre-owned 2014 Thor Tuscany two years ago. This is our first journey into motor home ownership. Recently the washer fluid quit dispensing. I'm assuming either: no fluid, blown fuse or pump has gone out. The easiest thing to do is check the fluid level but I can't find the fluid reservoir. Shouldn't be a hard thing to find but I have looked in all of the obvious places. Also, no mention of location (just says check the fluid) in any of the documentation.

Appreciate any steer from someone more experienced.

Thanks

It will be under the hood, I believe the left side engine compartment, looking in. You might just see the cap and it will have a windshield and a wiper on it.

I can't help you with the search for it...

But welcome anyway!
How about some pictures?

Thanks

Appreciate the feedback and interest in pics (see below from the dealer lot and one from Canon City CO). I will check again when I'm at the storage place this week. I should have clarified that the motorhome is a Class A Cummins diesel pusher so the thought about the engine compartment might assume it is a gasoline Ford engine?

Mine is behind the driver's side headlight. I have to pull out the generator to get to it and its still very difficult even to see. its hidden behind the wires and cables.

Thanks TanMan. I will check there. Crazy that it's so hard to find. Should be owner serviceable (oil, coolant, etc)

Your wiper coolant reservoir should be under front hood. Release handle inside left front compartment above hydraulic pump. once hood is open the reservoir should be on your right side (driver side) beside generator.

The issue I had with mine was fluid hose routing allowed wiper arm connector under hood pulled hose off so no fluid would get to outlet. Re-run hose so it would not catch on arm. Easy enough system to check from pump to outlet....

Hope this helps....

I had this problem once on my F53 chassis; until I realized I was trying to wash the windshield by pulling on the stick (flashing the brights) instead of pushing in on the knob at the end of the stick.

Appreciate the steer Steve. I'll follow that path and let you know.

If you pop the hood, and have someone try to spray some washer fluid: you might be able to track it down by the noise from the pump...
(assuming that it's not where the others have directed... )
