Dropped Off For Warranty Work
We dropped "Chewie" off at Camping World for some warranty work. We purchased on June 26th and had our first trip a couple of weeks ago. No major systems or appliances are broken, mostly fit and finish items.
When I called earlier in the week, and again today, they told me it would be 2-3 weeks before they pulled it into a bay. I told him that our next trip is in October and looking at the list he was not concerned about it being done in time for the trip. He said that they give priority to people with problems on the road and that slows things down some. I'm okay with that, might be me one day. They wanted me to leave it so it would be immediately available when they are able to get to it.
There have been many complaints about CW service on the forum. The one time I took it in to have a black tank flush installed, a few days before our trip, it was a great experience. We will see how this goes with the work. I will update as things progress so everyone will know how my experience is going.

Going to Stone Mountain, GA for our anniversary. Just a week trip. Going to plan longer adventures for next year.

Stone Mountain is great. You have many nice places near you that DW and I like. I.m sure you've been to those also. Cloudland Canyon State Park just south of Chattanooga in GA. and areas around Benson, TN. Great areas.

Do you mean Benton, TN? My son's girlfriend lives there. We've been to Cloudland Canyon, but it's been a few years.

Stone Mountain Park is a really neat place to see and spend some time at. Enjoy its rich history...we as locals love it!! Be sure to ride the train around the mountain and take the paddle wheel tour around the lake. If you run into issues, I'm just a few miles away!!

Thanks! We are looking forward to it. I need to look at the park activities closer, did not realize there was a paddle wheel tour!

Yes, around the lake. Also cable gondola up to top of mountain or you can walk up a nice path/walkway. Pretty steep unless you're the hiking type. My knees won't let me anymore.

Update
Got an email on August 28th they had not started work yet. They said they would email weekly. Got an email today that they have started working on it. We dropped it off three weeks ago and the service advisor said it would take 2-3 weeks to get to it. So far, so good.

Got an email yesterday that all work is complete. Going to QC to get all jobs checked. They will call when its ready for pick up.
