Still making excuses for poor assembly and nonexistent product responsibility I see...

1) Respectfully wrong on both counts. Class 8's are built in a totally separate environment than pickups and medium duty chassis'. Show me a motorhome, pickup that will come standard with dual 150 gallon saddle tanks with direct access to the tank via a 4 inch opening.

2) No excuses...just the facts, Jack!

I think this one might hold the key. For systems with longer fill tubes (as most RV's most likely have - I know mine is at least 6 feet) the float valve in the tank shuts off the air vent, and the resulting pressure spike in the fill tube trips the pump nozzle. Found a really nice article about this:

I crack open the filler cap on the opposite side that I am filling. This vents the filler while refueling.

To go way, way back to the OP...I have had the same problem at some Pilot and FlyingJ stops. I believe it is the gas pump nozzle at those certain stations. The nozzles seem to have just a bit more arc on them that causes the gas to back up and trip them. I can hear it. I have a route from coastal NC to FL we take to see our daughter and I know EXACTLY what stations this happens at and avoid.

You don't realize how handy they are until you get into a tight spot at a non truck stop station and need to bring a fill hose around a pump to the passenger side fill up

The dual pump could be used if in an extreme hurry but given typically around a hundred gallons or a bit more on high speed pumps the second cap is seldom used for that

The main reason mine gets used is when traveling in winter and want to add additive I use the passenger side fill while the fuel pumps in the drivers side

While refueling the fuel would foam up and shut off the nozzle...no matter if I used a small nozzle at a gas station or a large nozzle at a truck stop. I took it to a local Freightliner shop and they identified a small sag in the fuel lines on both sides of my 2019 Aria. They cut the sag out and made it more of a direct route to the tank...never a problem since.

Under the MH where the fill nozzle is located.

There are posts about this subject.

1) You can notice that the tank is actually a little up hill from the filler nozzle flexible hose, I try and park downhill at gas stations if i can. If not, i insert a plastic fuel filler into the filler port, this will at least get fuel into the tank. Very manual method. Putting 40 gals in this way can be very aggravating.

2) As you stated above the rubber hose gets kinked. I have solved that problem by putting a worm clamp around the rubber tube, as i turn the worm, the hose will assume a round dia. I don't tighten, just enough to take the flat rubber shape to round. This is pretty far up against the RV floor, so i couldn't remove the hose and replace with one with metallic mesh.

I also want to state that is also throws a fuel cap warning as well. I have already tried a new lid and cleaned around the ring. no change. it will eventually stop my generator from starting as well. but once the fuel flows and the cap light go off, the generator will start.
