Generator will not start

I am very disappointed with my Onan 4000 generator in my 2018 Thor ACE. Right now the Motorhome is at CW, they say it has a ignition problem, it just cranks with no start. The unit was working perfectly the last time I used it was about 4 months ago. They say it will require them to remove the Generator to perform further diagnosis. Just saying this unit was never abused, you would think I shouldn’t be having a problem with such a new unit. I have done all the preliminary checks before I made an appointment with CW
Not. A Happy Camper

Take it elsewhere. CW will have it for weeks if not months, waiting on parts.

Get it back and take it to a factory service center. It will be repaired faster and cheaper.

So you never exercised it monthly per the manual? Probably a gummed-up carburetor.

I am sure you did this. When I had my ACE I had to push the prime/start switch three times before it would start. This was even when it was hot from use.

So CW found a broken wire in the ignition circuit, it has been repair and ready for pickup tomorrow, just about 24 hours, sometimes you have to trust CW. I called around and was unable to get repairs done in a timely fashion at any other facility.
