GFCI 2017 Thor Outlaw 37RB

Outlet beside passenger seat doesn't work, also outlet in rear bedroom above the garage doesn't work. I have found 2 GFCI outlets one in the garage and one in the bathroom. Is there a third one???

Have you downloaded the electrical diagram from the Thor owners resource page. Should show you all GFCI outlets for your coach.

Thanks. Just downloaded the PDF, it only shows the 2 GFCI's. It shows 5B-power to inverter, same as the refrigerator and tv's, but those outlets are working fine.

Not likely. 2 is more than enough to do the job. 1 GFI can and does control many standard outlets downstream. Any 120-volt outlet within 6 ' of a water supply and outside and ground-level storage are. AND GARAGE AREA is GFI controlled. 2 is all you have.

Faulty connection

I found one problem like this caused by a bad connection at the outside outlet Click image for larger version

Two other times I found the problem with some outlets not working because of bad connections in a junction box

upstream of what? There is a breaker in the panel box and the next stop is the GFI outlet in the bath. Then another breaker in the panel box and a direct wire to a second GFI outlet. Its location is anybody guess. Like I said it would be within 6' of a water supply or in a ground-level storage compartment. Both GFI outlets control 4 or 5 other outlets in these locations IN SERIES.

If you happen to have GFI breakers instead of outlets then there are 2 of them in the panel box with Yellow trip buttons on them and no GFI outlets. The GFI breakers do all the work for the downstream outlets.

Wire diagram shows both outlets as not GFI protected. Both of the outlets are at the end of the feed. Thinking the issue may be towards the power source, bad connection at the next outlet.

What are the locations of these outlets?

One is beside the front passenger chair and the other is in the rear bedroom that's above the garage.

Those could both be on a GFCI string although not required to be. On my ACE, the passenger workstation outlet and all TVs are on the GFCI string (as well as the bath, sink, and outside outlets) because it was convenient for them to wire it that way.

No power at an outlet could be because of bad connection at that outlet or the upstream outlet.

Pull the nearest outlet to each one. The closest outlet to the dead one will be feeding it. You can pretty much rule out the GFI circuit.
