Gravity Fill

No matter what water pressure I use my fill keeps backing out. My tank is not full. The lines are not kinked
Can a standard water fill be tapped in?

Sure, if you have good access to the tank and you’re willing to cut holes in it and the sidewall of your coach. Better would be to figure out why the designed fill system isn’t working. I’d suppose maybe it’s not venting properly.

Normally on gravity fill water inlets there is also a small vent hole and attached vent line to the fresh tank. If that vent line is plugged with water (or some other crud) clear it out first prior to filling. Sometimes the vent line is installed incorrectly below the main fill line, which makes it very easy to trap water in the vent line. The quick and easy fix is use a short piece of flex rubber hose that just covers the vent hole (like new gas line hose) and blow any water out of the vent line back into the fresh water tank......then try filling again; but try not to overfill the fresh tank or water may enter the vent line again. Best solution is to raise the vent line above the fill line, but that may require some physical access issues to get to the vent line.

There's a product called Secure Fill made by Valterra that takes care of the problem. I had the same issue. It's about 20 bucks but worth every penny.
