Not only "one and done" but a complete "drive-by" - he has never been back to the forum since posting his question to read any responses. Hard to hijack that type of thread.

So we have no way of knowing if he even paused to see if there were any solutions to his problem...

guess it was good it was not a full black tank

i lost a 40 gallon portable honey pot once ....it tried to keep up for i think about a mile..
concrete ground it flat all the way up to handle

pooor driver behind would have surely needed a change of pants

but back to post. easy enough to get a replacement and glue fitting back in.

wonder if it was strapped in or bolted on the flanges

Sure would be nice if only good valid information was shared !
I have to say I see your point but the original poster never returned to engage with any questions or solutions to their problem. Join the fun and enjoy the ride .

The Addams Family reference has been the most fun I have had all day. I am sitting in my office setting up guidelines for putting staff and visitors back into mask next week. Thanks for the STRESS break everyone. AND I am real sorry about that grey tank...poor guy!

If you reply to this, I hope you are wearing a mask

My point has little to do with the OP or post, it's all about people who see the need to sidetrack, hijack, or ridicule someones post or question with BS that in no way relates. I guess it satisfies their need to yap.

So it is fine for you to hijack, but no one else?

Start yer own post and police it all you want, as you see fit... others here seem to enjoy the camaraderie and jokes.

Y’all need to chill a bit and look at these threads as campfire conversations instead of focused, agenda driven meetings. Seems like most of the meaningful dialog has happened and now there is a bit of silly. If you don’t like it, stop reading. JMO.

If you want to see a thread that stays on topic for 133 posts but has added nothing meaningful for 120 posts , go look at the "The freshwater tank: travel full? Or empty?" thread.

Yeah What about Bob!!!!!

Does anyone actually believe this story? I mean is it even possible to be true? Okay so the plumbing fittings may come loose, but for all of the gray tanks mounts to break free? I would think it is impossible for the Gray tank to be overweight unless OP is washing dishes or hands with gold in the water

By OP's own words...
between Dayton Ohio and Indiana Border the Grey water tank broke and fell on Highway. It could not be retrieved.
What is best way to replace and get repaired ASAP?
Had trip planned in 5 days.
He was already traveling, so what is the likelihood of another trip in 5 days? Even if he did; why worry about then (the next trip) when he / she has a problem now

Then he finishes with the question on the best way to replace and repair? He didn't ask where to go to buy a tank, in fact; he didn't even say where he was. How could anyone have given him best way to replace & repair? I assume if was going to repair himself, he would know the only way to put it in assuming it could have mechanically dropped out on it's own anyway? If it came out on it's own, it should be easy to see how to put it back in even for the novice. But give the OP the benefit of the doubt of all the above, if within his 1st post it had included something similar to the below, I might actually believe this story.

I called Thor, they said the tank was out of warranty and that their install price for a new tank is $2,500, I would like to know if I can repair this myself and if so, anybody know where I can get parts?

The answer is yes, call Thor Motor Coach. On a 2019; they may fix this for you under warranty.

The problem is everyone are not following the rules. It is okay to go off topic; but you have to submit your TPS Report to Thread Police first. If we can get everyone to submit their TPS Reports "That would be just Great!!!"

What happened to your Thread Police picture, did you leave your laptop on your Gray tank?

Being out of Uniform can be a serious offense....

Sort of off thread here but I have been wondering why there is even a separate tank for grey water. Can anyone tell me why they don’t just use one big tank for waste water and dump everything into it? It would be simpler and even cheaper and you’d never have to worry about having enough water in the black tank. It’s a real question.

Hahahahaha! 1/3 full? The OP never commented back. At least he listed his year make and model.
