Headlights not working

Did a lighting check and I have no headlights. The fuses that I have checked look to be ok. I looked at the under the hood fuse box and the inside driver side fuse box and I can't find for sure which fuse is for the headlights. Does anyone have a wiring diagram that can tell me the correct fuse location? Any other ideas will be helpful.

I would call Thor Warranty Support and ask them to email you the wiring diagrams for your unit. You can also talk to one of their Technicians to try and figure it out. Make sure you have the last eight of your VIN when you call.

I believe headlights are on an automatic reset circuit breaker rather than a fuse. Usually a silver metal square plugged into the fuse box. Do your parking lights and dash lights work?

You are correct DOT and NHTSA do not allow fuses in the wiring for the headlights. Usually an automatic resetting circuit breaker is included in the headlight switch assembly. There is a separate front cap wiring harness that connects to the body wiring harness. I suspect there is a bad wire or a pin in the connectors between the two harnesses, but the switch could also be bad.

I have running lights and everything out back is fine. Not sure about the dash lights. I'll have to call Thor but it sounds like another trip to Campers World to me. When do I start having fun with this thing!!

Have you tested to see if you have headlights after you have someone else put the vehicle in "Drive"?

No, I am not messing with you at all. Daytime running lights(sometimes using the headlights) in some cases, are set up to come on only after the vehicle is placed into drive.

In your first post you ask which fuses. According to the 2017 Ford F53 owners manual in the Power Distribution Box:
Fuse 10 - Daytime Running Lamps
Fuse -27 Headlamps. Daytime running lamps on/off relay coil. Headlamp daytime running lamp relay feed. High beam headlamps flash to pass. (Instrument panel fuses #25, 31).
For the Passenger Compartment Fuse Panel :
Fuse-25 Body builder right-hand low beam headlamp feed.
Fuse-31 Body builder left-hand low beam headlamp feed.
Fuse-35 Body builder high beam feed. High beam indicator.
Relay6 Daytime running lamps.Parking brake.
Relay7 — Daytime running lamps on/off.

So, and seriously, I am not messing with you, just trying to help. Is your parking brake set?

Yes, I even checked to see if I had headlights with the RV in drive. Still no headlights. I tried again to check for fuses but no luck there.
Any other guess out there?

I assumed your 2018 Windsport is on a 2017 chassis, but it doesn't matter as the fuse assignments have been the same since 2016 and are the same for 2018. When checking the fuses did you also check relay 6 and 7?

Camping World called and they said there was a short on the ground and all are working now. I should be able to test all the lights and then pick it up next week. I'm just not good at tracing wiring and I hate not being sure what is what. Thanks for checking on me!
