Heads up on Vegas-Axis and maybe others

The two panels inside the upper rear storage compartments(over bunks) were found laying flat on the shelf below. These are the panels that are at an approx. 45 deg. angle and cover the rounded part of the rear cap. I leave all my compartment doors open when in storage, so when doing a little house cleaning, I noticed the insulation and wiring showing.
Not sure what caused the panels to fall down, but surprises are not uncommon with this coach. Looks as if the brads that hold the upper edge pulled out or were not fastened properly, and the bottom trim partially turned loose from the rear wall.

For the fix, I removed the brads from the upper edge of each panel, stapled the bottom edge trim back onto the rear wall. I found some bronze colored screws, probably a #4 x approx. 3/4 lg. and fastened the upper edges at 4 places each panel. This was a quick and permanent fix, but if you check yours and find that they are loosening up, it would be much easier to screw them back in place before they fall. There are wood furring strips to screw into, so there is no danger of getting into the roof.
